-Staff, all time sheets, absentee papers, and extra duties need to be turned in by the end of the day today. Also, there is extra food from yesterday in the teacher’s lounge. It’s first come, first serve….and you will have to reheat it yourself.

-Attention all scholar bowl members: there will be a Christmas Party after school today in the band room. This Christmas party is for all scholar bowl members.

-FFA members, we will be having our Chapter Christmas party on Wednesday, December 20 at noon, at Randy Mason's. He will be catering lunch but I will need a count by Monday, December 18. Please sign up in the ag classroom if you plan to attend. Also, if you need transportation, we can make arrangements. 

-FEMALE FFA members interested in attending the Women Changing the Face of Agriculture Conference on Friday, March 9, 2018, please sign up with Mrs. Ehrhart. You must sign up this week because spots fill up quickly. 

-Seniors, the $500 Wayne County Soil and Water Scholarship application is due tomorrow. 

-Students, make sure to log on to getschooled.com today. If we can get 50 more students to complete the attendance badge by tomorrow, which would only take you about 10 minutes, the school will earn $500!

-Play auditions continue today in the band room. Don’t forget to bring your packet with you!

-Drama Club, your tshirt orders and money are due today.

-Attention all scholar bowl members: there will be a Christmas Party after school on Thursday, December 14th in the band room. This Christmas party is for all scholar bowl members.

-If you qualified for the November PBIS Reward, your name will be posted on the bulletin board. On Thursday, students who qualified will be called out early starting with seniors. Root Beer and Coke floats will be available in Ms. Smith's room. Please get your float and make your way out of the building to lunch.

-Winter Sports pictures are next Tuesday, December 12th. This includes: JV/Varsity Basketball,  Cheer, Journalism,  Band,  Apologetix,  FCA,  FCCLA,  Beta Club,  Scholar Bowl,  Drama Club,  Student Council,  Pep Club, and  Chorus. Picture packets are in the office.

-It’s the last 7 days to help get money for the school on getschooled.com. They even have extra prizes for the holiday! Make sure to log in to getschooled.com and finish badges. You could win us up to $500 to go towards creating fun events at school.

-If any high school students would like to shop at Santa Shoppe during homeroom, they are open.

-Winter Sports pictures are next Tuesday, December 12th. This includes: JV/Varsity Basketball,  Cheer, Journalism,  Band,  Breakfast Bible Club,  Apologetix,  FCA,  FCCLA,  Beta Club,  Scholar Bowl,  Drama Club,  Student Council,  Pep Club, and  Chorus. Picture packets are in the office.

-FFA will be selling pork chop sandwich, chips, and a drink for $5 today during lunch. 

-FFA members, please sign up to work concessions for tomorrow! This activity will count for points toward State convention, and for those signed up to go to 212, this will help you get points to make you eligible to attend.

-FNB’s Tri-County Banking Center and Bean Capital Banking Center will have free food, drinks, and t-shirts for both teams’ fans (while supplies last) at the Grayville versus Wayne City basketball game tonight.  The pregame party will be in the Grayville HS gym lobby beginning at 5:45pm. 

-Seniors with chocolate, please try to turn in everything to Mrs. Fagan by next Friday.

-The Wayne City Ruritan Club has requested VOLUNTEERS for the community breakfast on Saturday, December 2.  Work any shift from 6 a.m. - 10 a.m.  This is a great community service project and looks great on scholarship applications!  The Ruritans also sponsor several scholarships for our graduates.

-Students, there are still leftover porkburgers for $2 in Twilla's office. You can microwave them in there too.

-If you are interested in acting in the Spring Play, don’t forget to sign up for an audition time with Mrs. Noatch. There are still plenty of audition spots open!

-FCCLA's Annual Breakfast with Santa is this Saturday 9:00-10:30.  Wear your FCCLA tshirt.

-Mrs. Keen would like to congratulate the lucky recipient of the $20.00 VISA gift card won for ordering the 2017-2018 yearbook online. Kent Miller, please report to Mrs. Keen's room to get your gift card. Congratulations and thanks to all the students who ordered a yearbook this year!
