-It's FFA sign up time again. Dues are $25 for the year, this will include your membership as well as an FFA chapter t-shirt. FFA members must be enrolled in an ag class to be a member. The last day to sign up will be September 1. Please see Mrs. Ehrhart or Remington Henson for questions.

-If you have a t-shirt idea for FCCLA or FCA see Mrs. Miller by today. Anyone wanting to run for an FCCLA office see Mrs. Miller.

-FFA members, we need workers for tomorrow at the Fairfield Airport. Workers are needed from 10-1, please sign up in the ag room. We will also need workers for next weeks home volleyball game, for concessions. 

-Seniors, If you need more cards for your fundraiser, see Mrs. Fagan any time.  Also, you turn in your money as you go if you are worried about losing it.

-Mrs. Miller is collecting FCCLA dues till Sept. 15th.  Anyone who is in or has had a Family and Consumer Sciences class is welcome to join.  The dues are $30 which pays for a t-shirt, national, state and local dues.  See Mrs. Miller for more information.

-Calling all high school inventors, experimenters, and artists....The art club wants you! We will hold our first informational art club meeting next Tuesday August 29th in Ms. Rodgers' room directly after school.  Plan to stay around 15 minutes. Hope to see you there!

-FFA Farmyard Follies will be at the DuQuoin State Fair on Monday, August 28th. Any FFA member interested in going, please sign up in Mrs. Ehrhart's room. 

-Beta Club will holds is first meeting of members Monday, August 27 during Home Room.  Freshman that were in the Junior Beta Club are welcome to attend.

-FFA members going to Farmyard Follies, please come by the ag classroom to pick up a permission slip TODAY. If you do not have your permission slip you will not be able to attend. 

-Anyone who is interested in playing Boys’ Basketball this year, meet in Mr. Morris’ room, room 332, now.

Other News

-There is a meeting Tuesday during activity period for Apologetix leaders.

-There is a meeting Wednesday during activity period for FCA leaders/volunteers. 

-Mrs. Miller is collecting FCCLA dues till Sept. 15th.  Anyone who has had a Family and Consumer Sciences class (which is any class taught by Mrs. Miller) is welcome to join.  You do not have to presently be in one of Mrs. Miller's classes to be a member.  We will be doing monthly service projects and attend various FCCLA meetings throughout the year.  Some of the favorite activities FCCLA members participate in are Breakfast with Santa, Blood Drive, meals to Life Boat homeless shelter, Veterans Breakfast, Easter baskets to Golden Acres and the regional meeting at SIU Carbondale.  The dues are $30 which pays for a t-shirt, national, state and local dues.  See Mrs. Miller for more information.
