-Seniors going to DC, your first payment of $75 is due on September 20th. Your fundraiser does not cover this payment since it is the non-refundable deposit to hold your spot. If you have trouble paying this deposit on time, see Mrs. Fagan or Ms. Webb as they will help you work it out.

-Junior and Senior Beta Members!!!!! If you are interested in attending the Leadership Summit on October 12 thru 13 please let Mrs. Emery know by today.

-Angie is needing volunteers for the 5K. This is a fundraiser for prom. If you can help, please see Angie. If you want to run, pick up a form in Mrs. Noatch’s office.

-All art club members should have your dues turned in to Ms. Rodgers by September 14.  

-We are collecting items for the Harvey victims. If you want to donate, there is a list of items on our facebook page and on the board near Mrs. Emery’s room. We are accepting donations through September 13th.

-On Tuesday, the student body will vote for student council representatives. Classes will be called out one at a time to vote in Ms. Smith's room.

-There will be a Beta Club Meeting on Monday for Officer nominations.

-Lil Buddies BBQ will be setting up near Boyd’s Furniture today for lunch. There is a price list on the bulletin board near Mrs. Emery’s room.

-2016-17 Yearbooks are ready for pick up! Students can bring their $40.00 to Mrs. Keen's room before or after school, during lunch, or during activity period to pick up their book.

-Attention FCCLA members, there is a sign up sheet in Mrs. Miller's room for the Pampered Chef raffle at Bean Days.

-Congratulations to the following art club students...Creative Director goes to  Kylie Jackson; Art Events Coordinator goes to Braden Weccele; and Arts Advertising Specialist goes to Gracie Musgrave. Well done!  1st official art club meeting will be held September 14 directly after school. Art club dues must be paid by the first meeting.

-Yearbook pictures and volleyball pictures are in the office.

-There is a History Club meeting in the performance gym now.   

Other News

-Don’t forget to pick up your form in the office to participate in the Flash Light 5K before Bean Days. Proceeds go to help fund prom!

-The first art club meeting will be held next Thursday September 14th directly after school in the art room.  Please bring your art club dues of $10.  

-If you are interested in participating in Girls Scouts, there is a sign-up in Fairfield at the FUMC on Friday, September 8 from 5-7pm. You can talk to Mrs. French if you are interested.

-FFA Members interested in participating in the Forestry CDE and the Horse Judging CDE, please sign up in the ag classroom. The competition will be Monday, September 11. 

-FFA Members, we will be having our annual Back to School Party at Steve Ehrhart's on Friday, September 15, starting at 5:30pm. 

-New FFA members, jacket orders are due on September 15. The cost is $55. Please see Mrs. Ehrhart for any questions. 


-The Rend Lake College PSB entrance exam dates for Certified Medical Assistant, Radiology, and Nursing have been published.  Students may test once per semester.  As in the past, students (or someone on their behalf) must come to campus to pre-register and pay the $30.00 fee.
