If you have not turned in your parent teacher conference forms yet, make sure to turn them in to either the office or your 3rd hour teacher.

The Student Council will be hosting MORP, a casual dance, Friday, Oct. 20th from 7-10 p.m.  MORP Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, Oct.10th. MORP Voting will be Oct. 13.  If you plan to bring a non-Wayne City High School student, please see Ms. Smith for a permission slip. Permission slips must be returned to Ms. Smith by Monday, Oct. 16. Your guest will not be allowed in that night if you have not turned in the slip by this date.

The Student Council is looking for the following class donations for MORP: Freshmen: marshmallows, Soph: soda--bottles or cans (no 2 liters), Juniors: bottled water, Seniors: chips or cookies. Your name will be put in a drawing for a 10.00 gift card when you bring your donation. Bring to Ms. Smtih's room anytime.

Please be sure that you are using the sign-out sheet when you take a chrome book from the cart in Ms. Smith's room. Return the chrome books at the end of the period. They are not to be carried around all day.

FCCLA will be decorating pumpkins after school today.  Bring your own pumpkin.  FCCLA will supply the paint.

Any Junior who has a Battle of the Classes tshirt idea see Mrs. Miller by today. Any Junior wanting to run for class office see Mrs. Miller or Mr.Noatch.  We will be having elections the week of Oct. 16th.

Seniors, see Aubrey asap so she can get your shirt size for Battle of the Classes shirts. The shirts are $10 and the money is due this Friday.

Freshmen class officer petitions are in a folder on the bulletin board between the English rooms. Petitions must be returned to Mrs. Beehn or Ms. Smith by Oct. 13th.

Mr. Choate is accepting History Club Dues.  To join the club dues are only $5.00.  You have until tomorrow to pay your dues.

SHOTS FIRED: We do not have the exact numbers at this point but it is obvious the Freshman have started out strong in the Penny War.  Their surprise offensive has the other three classes reeling right now.  The Sophomores and Seniors have had absolutely no response as their forces are getting decimated on the field.  The Juniors, however, have answered with some spirited volleys of their own but it has not been enough so far.  The freshmen hold the high ground and look to continue their offensive tomorrow to claim the victory and the pizza.  Updates will be made as the reports come in!
