-Picture retakes and Senior Portraits are tomorrow.

-The Student Council will be hosting MORP, a casual dance, Friday, Oct. 20th from 7-10 p.m.  MORP Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, Oct.10th. MORP Voting will be Oct. 13.  If you plan to bring a non-Wayne City High School student, please see Ms. Smith for a permission slip. Permission slips must be returned to Ms. Smith by Monday, Oct. 16. Your guest will not be allowed in that night if you have not turned in the slip by this date.

-There is a sign up sheet in Mrs. Milller's room for FCA tshirts.  The cost is $5 and it is due by today.

-FFA members, please have your rib sale sheets turned in to Mrs. Ehrhart by tomorrow.

-The $5 FCA tshirt money is due tomorrow.  See Mrs. Miller if you have any questions.

-FCCLA will be decorating pumpkins after school next Tuesday Oct. 10th.  Bring your own pumpkin.  FCCLA will supply the paint.

-Seniors, your Balfour orders have arrived. See Mrs. Noatch to pick yours up.

-Sophomores, if you have Battle of the Classes tshirt ideas, bring them to Mrs. Kissner by today.  

-Any Junior who has a Battle of the Classes tshirt idea see Mrs. Miller by the end of this week.

-If you would like to order an Apologetix shirt, sign up in Mrs. Mays’ room. The cost of $10 is due before the shirts are ordered. Deadline is Friday.

-Mr. Choate is accepting History Club Dues.  To join the club dues are only $5.00.  You have until Wednesday Oct. 11 to pay your dues.

-Congratulations to our Student Ambassadors-- Remington Henson, Lucy Smith, Braden Weccele, Jayla Pendleton, Savana Richardson-- for the Get Schooled Attendance Challenge! These students will get a free t-shirt and have a unique leadership opportunity to influence others!  Sign up for your account today!

-There is a student council meeting in Ms. Smith’s room now.

Other News

-If you ordered, please pick up your 2016-17 yearbook in Mrs. Keen's room. They are $40.00. Extra books are still available in limited supply. 

-Student Council is looking to their classmates to help with the MORP dance to keep ticket prices low: freshmen are asked to donate a bag of large marshmallows, sophomores please bring soda either in cans or bottles but please no 2 liters, juniors please bring bottled water, and seniors are asked to bring a bag of chips. Those who donate will be put in a drawing for a $10 gift card. Bring your donations either that evening or you may bring them anytime to Ms. Smith's room.

-Looking to be a crowd stopper at Halloween? Looking for just the right thing to tie your Halloween look together perfectly? Why not add a bit of special effects make-up to the look and make your costume pop! See Cheyanne Fenton before the end of September for more details or to make an appointment.

-The FFA will be selling from now until October 6. Ribs will be cooked and distributed on October 14 at the Methodist Church parking lot. 

-If any FFA member is interested in Section Job Interview, please sign up in the ag classroom. The competition is on Tuesday, October 17 at 5pm at Wabash Valley College. 

-RLC is hosting two events onSaturday, October 7th.  9 a.m. - 2 p.m. 

Preview Day allows students to check out RLC programs, take tours of campus led by RLC faculty in your area of interest, learn about financial aid, have a chance to win giveaways, and enter for a chance to win a scholarship. Pre-registration is not required.

10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Prospect Day is for student athletes interested in becoming an athlete at RLC. Students will hear what it is like to be a student athlete at RLC from a former and current student athletes, take a tour, eat lunch, visit Preview Day, and break into individual sport clinics in the afternoon.

-Are you trying to complete your 2018 – 2019 FAFSA? Get help! Frontier Community College FAFSA Completion Event: October 4, 2017 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Richard L. Mason Building Room 25! * Parents and students are encouraged to attend this event if they would like help filling out the FAFSA. The 2018 – 2019 FAFSA will use prior-prior year data (2016). Please make sure you bring your social security numbers (both parents and students - you may find these on your tax forms) and 2016 income tax information.
