I am the 7th and 8th grade Language Arts teacher. I am also the high school Volley Ball coach. I am the 7th grade sponsor. I have also taught at Casey Middle School and Mt. Vernon Alternative School. I went to Rend Lake College, SIU-C, and McKendree. I majored in Elementary Education. My favorite color is red. My favorite animals are horses. I love to teach Reading. My favorite thing about teaching is the kids. Grading papers is my least favorite thing. I have been teaching nine years. Kids say "I have unhuman like energy everyday when I teach." My favorite number is 7. On a rainy day, I like to watch movies. I was blessed to have great teachers at Wayne City, and I wanted to be a teacher just like them. If I were stuck on a deserted island with a fellow teacher, I would pick Mr. Choate because he would make starvation and dying humorous.
