NOTICE OF INTENTION TO APPLY FOR WAIVER OF STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION RULES AND/OR
SCHOOL CODE MANDATES FOR WAYNE CITY UNIT #100 SCHOOL DISTRICT, COUNTY OF WAYNE, STATE
A public hearing to receive comments regarding a proposed application for waiver of State Board Rules
and/or School Code Mandates for Wayne City Unit #100 School District, County of Wayne, State of
Illinois, will be held at the regularly scheduled monthly Board of Education meeting on May 16, 2019 at
the Wayne City Board Room located at 408 E. Mill Street Wayne City, Illinois beginning at 5:45 pm.
A brief description of the proposed waiver follows. The waiver will be in effect for a period of five years
beginning with the winter of 2019 (January 1, 2020).
A waiver to allow the children of full-time employees who do not reside in the District
to attend Wayne City Unit #100 Schools without the requirement to pay tuition.
