Rend Lake hosted the annual Illinois Principal's Association breakfast. Chosen to attend were: Dawson Wood, Kaylee Bullard, Jesse Aguayo, Charlotte Chatman, Miles Esmon and Laura Irwin.



Pre-k had a great turn out for their Touch a Truck activity. We are blessed with wonderful community members willing to participate in learning experiences for our kiddos. Thank you all for coming!

Luke Hughes went to Springfield IL for the Elks Association State Hoop Shoot on Feb 28th. He competed in the 10-11 year old boys division. He got 3rd in the state of Illinois making 19/25. He represents Fairfield Elks Lodge No. 1631. Congratulations, Luke!

Last home game and 8th grade night for Lady Braves volleyball. They got the win! It's a short season but you can still catch a game if you're willing to travel.










The Finance Club met today. Connor Gerrish discussed the topic Career Capital: Building Social Capital Before You Have Money. He spoke about the value of networking, practical ways to build strong business relationships, and the importance of being mindful about what you post online now, since future employers will likely search for you.

Gracyn Steiner, Amelia Thomason, Maggie Thomason, Alex Barbre, and Hannah Smith were selected to play with the Wayne County junior high honor band. They did a great job today!


The Wayne City High School Foundation Scholarship is available NOW to all seniors and graduates of Wayne City High School. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, March 31st. Be sure to submit your application on or before this date to be considered.
