Our Special Olympics athletes competed in individual basketball skills at Carmi last Friday. Athletes were scored on passing skills, shooting skills, and dribbling. Kasen Thomason received a silver medal. Jaycee Youngblood, Whitney Lambert, and Harlan West each received a gold medal and will advance to the State Basketball Competition in March. So proud of each of our athletes! Way to go Wayne City Tribe!!

The Braves defeated Cisne to take 3rd in the WCJH Holiday Tourney. Woodlawn defeated Bluford to take 1st and NCOE earned the consolation trophy. The WC cheerleading team placed 1st with NCOE 2nd. Congratulations to the all tournament teams. It was a great week of JH basketball!
