We Scared Drugs Away together! So many students dressed up today, they enjoyed a costume parade and parties with their classmates.










Deputy Taylor and Trooper Billingsley brought in a Seatbelt Simulator for Wayne City students from 8th-12th grade today. Students listened to Trooper Billingsley explain the importance of putting on a seatbelt and they were able to experience the impact of a crash going 5 mph on the simulator.

Staff and students celebrated our principals with a pep assembly for Principal Appreciation. Mr. Richardson & Mr. Ellis were good sports competing against one another. Wayne City is blessed with two of the best!









The junior high girls' basketball team greeted students as they arrived this morning. Their home opener is tonight so come on out and watch them play. Varsity is 3-0 and the JV is 2-0. JV action kicks off at 6:00 playing only 2 quarters.

Senior night for Emma, Abi and Kenzie. It's been fun watching these girls play volleyball! Many of Coach Choate's former players came out to support him in his last regular season game. He is leaving quite a legacy!

Wayne City CUSD #100 is looking for an experienced individual interested in working as substitute maintenance. The individual would need knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance. Tomorrow is "Band Together Against Drugs." Students can dress up as their favorite performer or wear their favorite band's t-shirt and enjoy some music before school, by our very own Mr. Choate.
