Good afternoon,
We have been driving the routes to determine what is passable on our school buses. The good news is that we will be in session tomorrow, Friday, January 30. The snow routes will affect some families and we appreciate you working with us to get the students back in school. If your location is being changed, the bus driver or an administrator will contact you to ensure everyone knows the changes. If you are not contacted, your pick-up/drop-off location will not change.
Since the roads are in less than perfect condition, buses are expected to move a little slower, affecting pick-up and drop-off times some. We ask that you be flexible and bundle your kids up if they have to wait outside for the bus.
As a parent or guardian, it's important to keep in mind that you have the final say in deciding if it's safe for your child to travel to school. Please contact the office with absences.
Thank you again for your patience, flexibility, and support.

Due to continued poor road conditions on many of the rural roads in our district, Wayne City Schools will not be in session tomorrow, January 29. We will be working to organize snow routes to hopefully put into place for Friday. Snow routes would allow us to have points along the bus routes that serve as safe pickup points. More details to come. We are hoping to get the kids back to school safely and appreciate your patience.

No School at Wayne City on Wednesday , January 28th. Stay warm!
