Our wonderful PTO purchased 2 microwaves for our cafeteria this year! They are for 6th-12th grade to use. There is a 2 minute limit on each student's use as lunch time is very limited. If a student's food isn't heated in 2 minutes, they have to go to the back of the line. Please talk to your student about respecting these rules so the microwaves can be enjoyed by more kiddos! (For instance - easy mac takes too long. It would be best to make it at home and simply reheat at school)

High school yearbooks are here! 2024 Graduates can pick their books up in the office starting Monday. Students who didn't order can get a book from Mrs. Keen for $45!

Please help us welcome Deputy Taylor to WC CUSD. He joins us as a school resource officer. When you see a Wayne County Sheriff's vehicle at the school there is no need for alarm. We are excited to have him working with us!
Great turnout for Open House and the parent/athlete meeting. Thank you WC PTO for supplying cookies and drinks! Loved having the kiddos back in the building for a little bit. Can't wait to welcome them all back Thursday!

Reminder!! If your student needs different transportation (pick up/drop off locations) than they did last school year, you must call the school by 3:30 today, 8/12/24. Thank you!
There will be a short parent/player meeting for all WCHS athletes Tuesday, August 13th at 7:00 in the competition gym.
Jr High cross country practice will start on Monday, August 5 from 6:30pm-7:30pm. We will meet in the GS gym. This is for 5th-8th grade. You must have a physical. Bring a bottle of water!
* Online registration remains open. If you have NOT registered your returning student, please do so ASAP.
*In person registration is Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 12:00pm-5:00pm in the cafeteria. This is for NEW students. Students who have registered online, do not need to come to in person registration.
*Students in grades 6th-12th can pick up their schedules on Thursday, August 1 or they will be able to access them through Teacherease next week.
* If you owe fees, you can send those on the first day of school.
* Horizon Health care will be here on Thursday, August 1 from 12:00pm-5:00pm for physicals at no cost to you. You do not need an appt.
* Nurse Twilla will be here on Thursday, August 1 if you have paperwork for her.
* If your transportation has changed from last year, please contact the school by August 12.
*Open house for grades Prek-8th grade will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 6:30pm-7:30pm.
* First day of school for our students is Thursday, August 15, 2024. August 15th and 16th will be a 2:00pm dismissal.
