Per school policy, Valentine deliveries will not be accepted at school.

Just a reminder that senior yearbook ads are due tomorrow. Please send payment, photos, and form to Mrs. Keen if you want an ad for your senior student in the yearbook.


The time for the high school girls basketball game against South Central tonight (2/12/25) has changed. The game will start at 5:30 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.


There is an 11:30 dismissal this Friday, 2/14. Please have all bus/pick up changes called into the school by 10:30am.

The Wayne City Tribe competed at Special Olympics last Friday. The team traveled to Nu Bowl Lanes in Mt Vernon to compete in bowling.

Jaycee will advance to the Sectional competition. Way to go Wayne City Tribe!!!





Wayne City scholar bowl brought home 3rd place in the varsity MTC tournament! Dutch Peyton was top scorer with six tossups. Great job guys!
Parents, you raised some awesome kids. These guys handle themselves well everywhere we go while having fun. They make their coach proud!



Junior high students created flowers from metal in their fifth hour rotation class.


FCCLA week kicked off by serving students an ice cream sundae today!




Spin for Cash is a reward based program focused on attendance for all high school students. Students need to be present, with no tardies, for the week prior to the drawing to be selected. Winners for this week: Pierce Bryan and Draven Jones. Congratulations!

Our high school girls basketball game scheduled to play at South Central tonight has been postponed. It will be played on Wednesday, February 12 and will be a home game.

Wayne City high school took 13 students to compete at ACES at Rend Lake College. Eowyn is taking home second place in computer science and Alayna is taking home third in math! Great job!



Thanks to everyone who donated pop tabs for the FCCLA Ronald McDonald House drive. We collected over 150lbs! The top classes were 1st place Mrs. Staley, 2nd Mrs. Bailey, 3rd Mrs. Childers & 4th Mrs. Fagan. Mrs. Staley's class won an ice cream party!


Congratulations to Mrs. Staley's 4th grade for collecting the most pop tabs for FCCLAs collection to send to the Ronald McDonald House.


With the JH boys scheduled to play their first round game at the state tournament at RLC this Friday, February 7 at 3:30 pm, school will be dismissed at 2:00 pm on Friday. Due to scheduling conflicts we will not be able to provide a fan bus. Hope you can join us to pack the stands!
