We are excited to welcome everyone back. However, we encourage all our young drivers to please be careful coming and going to school. Allow yourself extra time and be safe when traveling to and from school.

SENIORS...
Tomorrow morning, Tuesday, January 14th, Rend Lake College representatives will be at WCHS to help students create an FSA ID and provide financial aid information. There is more information on TeacherEase and in your school email.
Every student needs an FSA ID in order to complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA is a graduation requirement. To create an FSA ID, you will need your social security number, full name, and date of birth. Please have those ready for tomorrow morning's meeting. Parent/guardian(s) also need to create an FSA ID.
REMINDER: The FAFSA Completion Event is Thursday, January 16th from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Wayne City Schools will be in session Tuesday, January 14! Bus drivers are contacting families with alternate pick-up/drop-off locations. If the you are not contacted by the driver, your pick-up/drop-off location will remain the same. If the alternate arrangements are a problem, parents have the choice to drop students off at school at 7:30. Parents are also free to keep their child(ren) home. Those absences will be excused if you feel none of the alternate arrangements will work for your family.
Buses may run late due to poor road conditions so please be patient. Morning temperatures are expected to be in the single digits the next two mornings so please be sure your kids dress warmly. The lunch for tomorrow will be taco bowl. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we try to get back in school to start the second semester.

Due to continued poor road conditions on many of the rural roads in our district, Wayne City Schools will not be in session tomorrow, January 13.
We will be working to organize snow routes to hopefully put into place for Tuesday. Snow routes will allow us to have points along the bus routes that serve as safe pickup points. More details to follow.
We are hoping to get the kids back to school safely and appreciate your patience.
