Our Wayne City Tribe Special Olympics team competed at Basketball skills today at Rend Lake College. The athletes earned the following medals in their divisions:

FCCLA is hosting a Mac & Cheese drive at the High School for the Feeding the Kids of Wayne County summer program.


Sophomore students need to bring their ten dollars for T-shirts by TOMORROW (Friday, November 15) and also should be gathering their chosen costumes for Battle of the Classes before November 22.

Congratulations to Ellie Talbert for competing in the sectional swim meet at Urbana. You did an awesome job and keep up the hard work. Thank you to Coach Dagg for coaching her.


We were beyond proud of our volleyball team this year and happy they are being recognized. Midland Trail coach of the year - Lamar Choate. Midland Trail honorable mention - Abi Lane. Midland Trail 1st team selection - Emma Griswold, Kenzie Seidel, Rylie Backes, and Kyia Cone who was also voted player of the year.

Mike Ehrhart came to speak with 5th grade today. He visits every year and speaks about his time in the army. We are thankful for his service and the time he spends sharing his experience with our students.
