Seventh grade students in Mrs. Emery's fifth hour participated in the international event Hour of Code last week and this week. Hour of Code is a free introduction to computer science through fun activities and videos for learners of all skill levels. This year's event focused on how AI is used in our lives daily. Other activities focused on using block code for game design, creating digital art using conditional formatting in Google Sheets, and creating animations using Google Slides.

The Conrad Allen Tournament takes a village to make happen. We get a lot of compliments about our hospitality room every year. We would like to thank Mrs. Miller and her Foods classes for keeping everyone fed this week.
